From his one month trip from north to south, Peter R. brought back a video that allows in three minutes to embrace the diversity and richness of this South American country.
He was supposed to stay there for two weeks, he finally explored it for a month. Peter R., who posted a video titled Crossing the Ecuador (Crossing Ecuador, in French) on YouTube, looks back on the wealth of Ecuador. This South American country, bordering Colombia (to the north) and Peru (to the south), indeed offers a wide range of landscapes. On foot, by car, or by boat, the author gives a good overview in 3 minutes and 5 seconds flat.
The mountains and their hiking trails, the beaches and their vast expanses, the multitude of volcanoes, through the different animals living in this region: flamingos, spiders … “I had not seen so many animals in all my life! ”writes the author.
Peter R. first arrived in Quito, the capital, before traveling for four days to the Amazon, then to the North, in the Mindo region, where he was able to enjoy the river and its surrounding nature. Then headed to the Amazon for four days, then a six-day cruise to the Galapagos Islands, around Isabela Island, where he was able to swim with sea lions, sharks and turtles.
He then visited Cuenca, the third largest city in the country, to join Vilcabamba, nicknamed the Valley of the Centenarians, because of the longevity of its inhabitants: some would have lived up to 120 years!
